Password and account

I have forgotten my password. How can I get a new one?
There is a link on the page, where you log in, where you can order a new password. Click on ”Password forgotten?” and you will get a new password sent to your email. 

I have ordered a new password, but I haven’t received it to my e-mail. What should I do?
Have you also checked the trash bin in your inbox? If it’s not there either, please send an email to info@netticket.fi, and we will change the password for you manually and send it to your email. 

I don’t know if I already have an account. How can I check this?
We can check it for you. Send us an email to info@netticket.fi, and we will check if your email address is registered in our customer  register or not. 

Buying tickets

How do I buy tickets in the web shop?
1.
On the front page, search for an event by writing the name or the place of the event. You can also find all events by choosing the different categories on the front page; theater, musical, concerts, festivals and so on.
2. When you have found the event you’re looking for, choose the right date and time and click on “Buy now”.
3. Next, choose the ticket amount, by clicking on the plus “+”.
Choose also eventual discount tickets at this point.
4. If the event doesn’t have numbered seats, you can just add the tickets to the shopping cart. If there are numbered seats, click on the black button “Pick your seats here”, from there you can choose the seats you like. The blue ones are free. When you click on the seats of your choice, they become slightly blue and you can add them to your shopping cart.
5. Next, check that the information about your order is correct, if so, continue by clicking on “Pay tickets”.
6. Before paying, you need to either log in or register as a new customer. It is also possible to buy the tickets without registering as a customer.
7. Next, choose the shipping method. When choosing e-ticket, the tickets will be sent to your email and to your mobile phone after payment. You can also recieve your e-tickets i Kivra - free and secure delivery directly to your digital mailbox. When choosing mail ticket, the
tickets will be sent to you by mail and a 5,90 € delivery fee will be added. The service fees included in the ticket price is specified in brackets. Click on “Continue”.
8. Select the payment method of your choice and click on “Continue”.
9. Last step before payment is a summary of your order, contact information and the total amount. Check that all information is correct and proceed to the payment. When the payment is completed, return to NetTicket.fi.
10. The tickets will be sent to you according to the chosen shipping method. 

I haven’t received the tickets. 
If you haven’t received the tickets after the payment was completed, check if your inbox is full or the junk mail / trash in your inbox. If you still can’t find the tickets, call our service number 0600 399 499 and we will send you the tickets again to your email. If you’ve chosen e-ticket as shipping method, you have also received the tickets to your mobile phone.

I want to buy the tickets without registering. 
When you’ve added the tickets to the shopping cart, proceed by clicking on “Pay tickets”. Next you need to log in, register or in this case choose to buy without registration. When you’ve filled in your information you can proceed to choosing shipping method and payment. When payment is completed, the tickets will be sent to you according to the chosen shipping method. 

Booking tickets

Please note that tickets cannot be booked for all events. 

I want to book tickets. 
If you want to book tickets, you can contact us by email info@netticket.fi or by phone 0600 399 499. You can also book tickets from the event organizer or the theater.

Can I book tickets online?
It depends on the event. For now tickets can only be booked online to Jyväskylän Huoneteatteri. If you want to book tickets for other events, please contact us by email info@netticket.fi or by phone 0600 399 499. You can also book tickets from the event organizer or the theater.

How do I pay for the tickets I’ve booked online?
Log in to the web shop and from the page “Account” - “My account” you will find your booked ticket. Click on “Place booking” to proceed. When the payment is completed, the tickets will be sent to you according to the chosen shipping method.
You can also visit our booking offices and pay for the tickets there, www.netticket.fi/bookingoffices.

How do I change my reservation?
Send us all information regarding the reservation to info@netticket.fi. We will change the reservation for you and send you a new order confirmation to your email. 

Returning tickets

Can I refund the tickets I’ve bought?
Purchased tickets cannot be returned unless the event has been cancelled. NetTicket acts as a ticket broker without any responsibility for the event's fulfillment. Service and delivery costs are not refunded in case of a cancelled event. The event organizer is responsible for refunding the ticket costs.
In some cases, it's possible to change the date on the ticket for a €10 fee. This fee, along with any price difference, will be sent to the customer via email as a payment link.

Epassi / Smartum / Edenred / Culture benefits

The additional fee for using culture benefits via Epassi, Smartum, and Edenred is 5% (VAT included).

Can I pay the tickets with e-Passi?

Yes. Choose “e-Passi” as payment method. Please note, culture vouchers are individual, therefore only one ticket can be payed with e-Passi. 
If the balance is not enough to cover the entire price of the ticket, you can first buy a gift card that can be used as partial payment in the online store or you can buy the ticket at one of our salepoints.

Can I pay the tickets with Smartum-online?
Yes. Choose “Smartum” as payment method. Please note, culture vouchers are individual, therefore only one ticket can be payed with Smartum-online. 
If the balance is not enough to cover the entire price of the ticket, you can first buy a gift card that can be used as partial payment in the online store or you can buy the ticket at one of our salepoints.

Can I pay the tickets with Edenred? 
Yes. Choose “Edenred” as payment method. Edenred works in the same way as a credit card. If the balance is not enough to cover the entire price of the ticket, you can first buy a gift card that can be used as partial payment in the online store or you can buy the ticket at one of our salepoints.

Can I pay the tickets with culture vouchers?
Unfortunately, we do not accept culture vouchers.

Please note:
In case you paid your tickets with cultural benefits, money will not be refunded. The value of used benefit quota is based on credits and can therefore not be repaid in money. Instead, we can offer a Netticket gift card which is valid for 1 year.  

Shipping method / Service fees

Why does it say "e-ticket 0€" but then show 2€ in the summary?
The shipping fee is the same as our service fee, and the service fee is already included in the ticket price. That’s why it shows €0 for the e-ticket. In the summary, the breakdown simply specifies how much of the ticket price consists of the service fee and how much is VAT.

Why is the ticket price 20€, but the total in the summary is 22€?
In this case, the event organizer has provided us with a ticket price that excludes the service fee. That’s why the service fee is added separately in the summary.

If the event is cancelled, the service fee will not be refunded.

Payment / Payment method

The payment failed. 
Try emptying the shopping cart and try again. In the upper right corner on the page, you will find the shopping cart, click on it and delete the chosen seats. Then look for the event and choose the seats again, and hopefully this time the payment will be successful. 

Can I pay with credit card?
Yes, you can choose to pay by credit card from the different payment methods.

Gift cards / Serial tickets / Discount codes

Can I pay with a gift card online?
Yes, you can pay with the gift card online. The giftcard that can be used in the webshop has to to have a ten sign long code to work.

How do I pay with my gift card online?
When you’ve added the tickets to the shopping cart, log in to your account or choose the alternative to buy without registration. Next, choose the shipping method. When you’ve come so far that you must choose the payment method, choose the payment method you would want to use in case the amount on your gift card is less than the total amount of the tickets. Continue. Enter the gift card code in the box on the summary page. If the amount on your gift card is more than the total amount of the tickets, you can use it again for your next purchase. You can also use multiple gift cards in the same order. If the gift card amount is less than the total amount of the total ticket amount, pay the remaining amount with the payment method chosen earlier. Check the box that you have understood and read the privacy statement and proceed to payment by confirming the order. The tickets will be sent to you according to the chosen shipping method after the payment is completed. 

Use serial tickets as follows: 
First select the event you want to buy a ticket for. Select the number of tickets you need of the type you are entitled to (e.g. normal price or pensioner, although they have a higher price) and then log in or buy unregistered. Then select the delivery method and which bank or other means you will pay with if you want to buy multiple tickets and only pay for one ticket with the serial ticket. When you get to the summary page, enter one or more serial ticket codes in the Gift card/serial ticket code box and press use. Your ticket is now paid for with the serial ticket.

Can I pay my order with the gift card by the even organizer?
You can pay with gift cards from an Event Organizer but only to the events that the Event Organizer is hosting.

You cannot purchase alcoholic products with a gift card!

How do I buy a gift card online?
From the front page of the web shop, choose among the categories “Products” and the gift card you want to buy, NetTicket gift card or one of the event organizer’s gift cards. Next, choose the amount of the gift card and proceed by clicking on “Buy” and then “Add to cart”.  After adding the gift card to the shopping cart, click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner. Before paying, you need to log in or register as a customer. After the payment is completed, an automatic gift card order will be sent to us, and we will send you the gift card by mail. If you want the gift card to be sent to a different address than your own, send us an email to info@netticket.fi after you ordered the gift card and let us know to which address you want us to send the gift card. 

Discount code:
If you have a discount code for an event, you will find the place for the discount code on the summary page. That is, after you have chosen the delivery method and payment method.

Mysafety cancellation insurance

What is Cancellation Insurance?
MySafety’s Cancellation Insurance reimburses the costs of your booking or part of them if you are unable to attend the event. The insurance covers the price of your ticket in cases such as:
- Your sudden illness, accident, or death.
- The sudden and serious illness or accident of a close relative.
-The sudden death of a close relative.
-A break-in or significant damage to your home (e.g., fire, water damage, or vandalism).
-You are required to work by your employer (does not apply to entrepreneurs). Compensation is conditional on you not being aware of the requirement at the time of booking.
-Your babysitter falls ill or encounters another obstacle.
Compensation is conditional on this happening less than 48 hours before the event and no replacement babysitter can be found.Please review the insurance product materials in detail at mysafety.fi/peruutusvakuutus.

How do I file a claim?
You can file a claim with MySafety at mysafety.fi/vahinkoilmoitus.

Seats / Seating map

How do I choose seats?
After choosing the ticket amount, click on the black button “Pick your seats here”, from there you can choose the seats you like from the seating map. The blue ones are free. When you click on the seats of your choice, you can add them to your shopping cart by pressing Reserve seats 

Why am I having trouble choosing my seats?
Did you choose as many seats in the seating map as the amount of tickets you chose? If there are seats missing, you won’t be able to add them to the shopping cart. Choose as many seats as the amount of tickets chosen. If you open the seating map and all the seats are grey, then you have probably chosen the wrong section / rows. Choose the right section before choosing the ticket amount. 

Wheelchair- and assistant tickets

How do I book a ticket for a wheelchair?
The wheelchair tickets are not always for sale online. If you want to buy a wheelchair ticket, please be in contact with the event organizer.

Can I buy an assistant ticket online?
The assistant tickets are not available online. If you need an assistant ticket, you can be in contact by phone 0600 399 499 or directly to the event organizer.
The assistant ticket is not always free, it depends on the organizer.

Other

Kaiku-card?
It is not possible to reserve tickets with a Kaiku-card in the online store. The theatre or organizer decides whether the Kaiku-card can be used for their event. Check out the theatre's own website about this opportunity.

I have a 1-2-year-old child, do I also need to buy a ticket for him / her?
In this case, be in contact with the organizer. Usually, if the child needs his / her own seat they need their own tickets – but if the child is sitting in the lap, then you don’t have to buy a ticket for the child. Most organizers want to know how exactly how many people that are coming, for safety reasons.

What is the age limit for the children ticket?
It depends on the event. The age limit is usually 15 years.

I cannot choose the amount of tickets.
This means that the event is unfortunately sold out. 

I got a ticket to my phone that I have not purchased

I want to book tickets for a larger group
For some events this is possible in the Webshop, otherwise you can contact the Event Organizer for groupbooking

I can´t buy tickets, is it sold out? Can i put myself in que if somebody is cancelling their booking?
You can contact the Event Organizer and ask. NetTicket doesn´t have a quesystem in use.

 

What does it mean when a message says that “single empty seats” are not allowed?
This means that you cannot leave a single empty seat between the seats you choose. We have a feature in place to prevent single empty seats from being left unoccupied.

I would like to sell an event through you. How do I proceed?
You can find more information about selling events through us at this link: https://info.netticket.fi/sv/. Once you've reviewed the information, you can fill out the organizer agreement and the event agreement and send them to us at info@netticket.fi.

I have a smart TV, Chromecast or AppleTV device

Open your smart TV's internet browser and go to https://live.netticket.fi. Fill in the ticket code you received to your e-mail after the purchase and click the Watch -button.
NetTicket Live uses HTML-technology and should work with all major javascript supported browsers.
See your smart TV's manual for more information.

Use Chromecast to watch the video content by opening Google Chrome web browser on your mobile device or computer. Fill in the ticket code you received to your e-mail after the purchase and click the Watch -button. Choose Cast-icon from the browser menu and select the target display.

For Apple devices AirPlay can be used to stream the video content.

If the playback works you are able to use NetTIcket Live to watch recordings and live stream.

Nothing happens / Video won't start

The recording or live stream playback starts when you press the "Play" -button at the bottom left or in the middle on the video screen.

Video has no audio

By default audio is disabled on live streams. Press "Click to Unmute" at the top of the video screen to turn on audio.
Additionally, make sure your volume level and output device are properly adjusted in your device settings.

The recording is bad quality

Check that your internet connection is in good condition as the transmission of video and stream material requires a good internet connection. With mobile devices, choppy sound and image can appear.

The image quality is automatically the best possible for the internet connection that is in use, but if the broadcast is choppy, you can influence the quality from the "gear" and Quality selection.Choose instead of Auto a lower option, start from the lowest and then try to improve the image quality.

With the test video https://live.netticket.fi/watch/paperilippu-dcac74de26881a46b1b764b811881c47 you can check that everything works regarding NetTicket's services.

The event organizer is in charge of the quality, for both picture and sound. NetTicket is not able to make adjustments to the quality. Feedback must be addressed directly to the event organizer.

Spinning circle shown on the video screen

The media player is starting or buffering the video. Try stopping the playback and hit play after a few seconds. This might solve the problem.

If you are still experiencing a spinning circle the video buffer is most likely empty. These kind of issues are usually caused by weak or high load on the internet connection. The player buffers up to 15 seconds of the video to avoid playback interruptions, but in case of an empty buffer, the spinning circle is shown until the player establishes a connection to the video source.

The image quality is automatically the best possible for the internet connection that is in use, but if the broadcast is choppy, you can influence the quality from the "gear" and Quality selection.Choose instead of Auto a lower option, start from the lowest and then try to improve the image quality.

How do I buy codes

You can buy codes in our Web shop www.netticket.fi for recordings or livestreams. You will find the event by name or by the event organizers name. You will also find all available Streams under "Products"

I have paid but haven´t received a code?

When the payment is completed the 10 signs code and the link is shown on the screen and the ticket code is also sent to you by e-mail. Check your junk mail / trash in your inbox as well.

If you still can’t find the ticket with the code, please contact us at info@netticket.fi with your email address and phone-number.

I have a code but don´t know what to do?

Go to https://live.netticket.fi and fill in the 10 signs long code in the "ticket code" box and press "Watch". If the code is valid the video or live-stream will start.

I have received a code that doesn´t work

Check that you have been filling out the right code. The best way is to copy the code from your ticket and then paste it into the right place.
Make sure if you´re not copying the code that there´s a difference between number 1 and letter I as well as between number 0 and letter O.

The code I received is showing the wrong recording or livestream

Please let us know by sending an e-mail to info@netticket.fi so we can correct it.  

I got a message saying that “Your ticket code is being used on another device. Due to privacy reasons a ticket code can only be used on one device at a time.”

By entering the code to another device the right to watch the event has changed to the last device that used the code.

Shut down existing browser sessions on all devices and restart viewing usually fixes this problem.

I got a message saying that "The Recording or livestream can´t be viewed and is no longer available at NetTicket Live"

The code is only valid for a certain time.

Most often, the live events are for sale and can be watched for 7 days after the event and the code is valid according to the following options x times/x hours/x days/x days.
 
The organizer decides how long the event is for sale and what its validity period is. If the event has a validity period of one day, the code works 24 hours from when the code was first activated.

I regret buying the code or I´m dissatisfied with my purchase

Purchased tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. If an event is cancelled the Event organizer is in charge of refunds.

Is it possible to chat with the organizer or artist?

Yes. In streaming, it is possible to communicate with the event organizer or artists if the event organizer has activated that option and moderates the discussion.

NetTickets obligations

NetTicket is in charge of selling codes, delivering codes and viewing streams at live.netticket.fi website.

The event organizer is in charge of the quality, for both picture and sound and  NetTicket has no responsibility regarding the quality of the recording or the stream.
